“We are, at this exact moment, living during the time that humankind moves our footprint to space. As an ever expanding technological species, this is our inevitable outcome to the limits to growth we have on our finite planet. What mission could be more exciting today than to usher in this new era by establishing the industrial outposts on the space frontier to create abundance on Earth?” JASON DUNN, Founder & CEO
Leadership
Jason Dunn, Co-Founder and CEO
Prior to founding Outpost, Jason was the co-founder and CTO of Made In Space, where he led the development of the first 3D printers and in-space fiber optics manufacturing technologies in space. He saw the company through its growth and acquisition by AE Industrial Partners, which IPO’d the company as RedWire (NYSE:RDW). He holds a BA and MA in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Jason is recognized for his relentless ambition and commitment to leveraging space technology to improve life on Earth.

His work is instrumental to Outpost’s mission of enabling rapid, targeted return from space.
Vision
Our vision is to unlock Earth as a destination
Outpost is creating a future where the return lane from space opens the doors to space factories and point to point delivery anywhere on Earth.
Our Carryall vehicle can host multi-ton payloads for missions to and from space. This, along with low cost launch and advancements in robotics and AI, make global logistics through space a profitable reality and open the door to enabling space factories at scale.
CarryAll serves our United States military and civil partners to precisely deliver supplies anywhere on Earth within 90 minutes, and will soon expand its services to global relief and commercial customers.
Mission
Providing high speed logistics and in-space manufacturing for military, civil and commercial customers.
In the entire history of space exploration over 15,000 tons have been sent to space and only 200 tons have returned to Earth.
At Outpost we see a future where all global logistics is sent through space, and factories in Earth orbit produce the products that drive the technological growth of our civilization.
The Principles That Guide Us
Outpost is a value-driven organization built around five principles of service. Our goal is to embody these five principles in every aspect of how we operate.
1. We serve our planet
Sustainability is at the core of why Outpost exists. We see an opportunity to not let the space frontier be cluttered with single-use waste like other frontiers of the past. Our spacecraft are fully returned to Earth for refurbishment and re-use.
2. We serve ourselves and our families
We strive for balance at Outpost. When we take care of ourselves we are able to bring our best self to our team and our work product. Also, when we hold this service to ourselves we are also able to honor our families and their needs.
3. We serve those who serve
Our Earth return technology is a vital solution for saving lives of our military personnel and those who serve humans and a planet in need. One of the greatest achievement for Outpost will be the number of family members we can reunite by reaching across the world with aid and supplies from up above.
4. We serve our customers
We can have the most reliable space platforms in the world but if it doesn't provide a useful, helpful service, we will not find customers to use it. And, when our customers are not flying with us, our competitors will be their best friends. We must always keep our customers' needs first and drive decision making around what we have validated they want.
5. We serve the creative spirit within us
We are obsessed with iterating and flying missions. We know that there is no better feeling than working hard and getting the mission off the ground and that the more we iterate along the way the more reliable our missions will be. This ethos of fast iteration is one which we extend to our customers with the Ferryall and Carryall, which allows them access to the space environment for fast iteration of their own product development.
